Welcome to Our 3rd Grade Program

 

 

It is our goal that each child will learn, grow, and develop every day. 

Our desire is to provide academic excellence in a warm and supportive school climate.  We want each parent to feel that “my child is having a great year at Union Ridge.”

Strong parental and community support enhances the quality of education at Union Ridge.  We hope you will visit the school often.  Please come meet with us, talk to us, join the PTA, and volunteer your time and energy.  We know that your involvement, combined with the efforts of our talented faculty, will make this school year a rich and rewarding year for your child.

On this website you can access parent resources, classroom rules and procedures, monthly calendars, links to homework assignments and so much more.  Take the time to explore our classroom website and use it to help you throughout the school year.

Exploring New Possibilities

Third grade is a year of discovery as students begin applying their knowledge in new and exciting ways. As academic expectations grow, students develop critical thinking, responsibility, and perseverance while exploring a variety of subjects. We encourage curiosity, collaboration, and confidence as students continue to grow into capable, independent learners.
