The Building & Grounds Department oversees the mowing, landscaping, cleaning and repairs to all of the District facilities. The staff is dedicated to providing a safe, clean and comfortable environment for our students and educators.

On January 16, 2017, Public Act 00-0922 was signed into Illinois law, which established new lead testing requirements and protocols for all water sources used for cooking and drinking in schools and day care facilities. Every month, maintenance staff at URS completes Water Tests around the building to ensure we stay in compliance with State Standards. This process is to guarantee the safety and health of all students and staff members.
