Corrigan Learning Center

The Corrigan Learning Center is where students can come to learn, to read, to work, and to grow in all areas of academics. All genres of literature as well as excellent nonfiction are available to students. Union Ridge strives to foster a community of life-long readers by offering a wide range of reading materials for Kindergarten through Middle School students. Come and check out the CLC.

Each year, National Read Across America Day is celebrated on March 2nd, the birthday of Dr. Seuss. The annual event is part of Read Across America, an initiative on reading created by the National Education Association.

Showcasing our 4th and 5th Grade Book Tasting!

In cooperation with Eisenhower Library, students were given several different genres to choose a new book. Genres included: mystery, nonfiction, humorous, graphic novels, realistic fiction, and more. Students loved moving from table to table in a calming and relaxing atmosphere to sample books. Check them out in action.
