Harry Potter Week!!
Students were sorted into one of four houses from Harry Potter: Griffyndor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Each student recieved a house certificate to use as a bookmark. More fun and games with prizes are to come!
Battle of the Books 2024
Held at Eisenhower Library, the competition pits schools in the Harwood Heights area against each other in book-related trivia. UNION RIDGE TOOK HOME FIRST PLACE ONCE AGAIN!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO MR. K. AND HIS TEAM: 4th grade: Jude, Zaid, Alex M. and Ellie; 5th grade: Rasmia, Ayman, Elizabeth, Adam, Dina, Petrina, and Sireen; 6th Grade: Mariem B., William, Noemi J., and Isabel.
