The First Grade Blackhawks created scarecrows using data from a fall survey. Students decorated their scarecrows based on their answers. A Glyph for students can be described as a pictorial form of collecting data. Glyphs can be used in the classroom to transcribe a large amount of data, create a graph, or as a decoding activity.
