Meet Mr. Santana

My name is Ismael Santana and this will be my 16th year at Union Ridge.  I will be your child’s Third grade teacher and I look forward to teaching third grade this year. I completed my student teaching at Union Ridge under the guidance of Jennifer Price (Fifth Grade Teacher), Jane Paul (Retired), and Peggy Schoenfus (Retired). I have 15 years of certified teaching experience, with this being my fourteenth year in Third grade. I have a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, a Spanish minor with a middle school endorsement in the subject areas of science, Spanish, and language arts. I have completed a Masters Program at Saint Xavier University and received a Master’s Degree for Teaching and Leadership. I feel with these backgrounds, I can provide a solid education for your child.
