Meet Mrs. Martin

Hi! I'm so thrilled about teaching third grade at Union Ridge School and being a part of this community since 2010.

I graduated from Lake Forest College in 2006 with a Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education and Music. I previously was a second grade teacher, a reading assistant for grades K-2 and an oral English teacher in Xi'an, China. I enjoy teaching with technology and learning new ideas and information that help me be an amazing teacher.

I have earned a Masters of Literacy Education from Northeastern Illinois University in May 2015, and am confident that my expertise will provide your child with a rich education!

• My mom's family is from Thailand and I often go to visit them
