Dear returning families,
 
Welcome back!  Are you ready to return to school?  We hope that you are having a lot of fun over the summer.  We’ve missed you!  Are you ready to see your friends again?  I know they look forward to seeing you again!  Note: Your child will be with the same teacher and group of students as last year. School session for PM preschool takes place Mondays-Fridays, 12:45 PM - 3:15 PM.  First day of school for PM students is on Friday, August 23.
     We are going to begin the school year by talking about our families. On the first day of school, your child will receive a house to decorate. Please decorate your house (include drawings of all members of your family!) and return within the next couple of days. We will create a class book full of our families!

Important note:  Please plan to bring your school supplies on Tuesday, Aug. 20  (see attached flyer), anytime between 3:00 and 3:45 PM.  The school supply list can be found on our school’s website, urs86.org (main page, under the I want to... section).

Notes for returning families:  The parent orientation is for new families only, not returning early childhood students!  There is no orientation for returning families or those who have had a child in our preschool program in the recent past.  Also, refer to the arrival/dismissal procedures attached.
